I don’t want to be just an influencer; I want to be an Enfluencer – an entrepreneur influencer, and here’s why that matters.
Recently, I was part of a powerful gathering of 2,000 creators from around the world, from a 12-year-old to a 68-year-old – each unique in their niche, each wielding influence. Some were small-scale creators, some niche, some celebs, but all influencers in their own right.
Why was I so inspired?
The Uniting Force: One man brought us all together – Nusier Yassin of NAS Daily. A half-Israeli, half-Palestinian global influencer who’s built bridges across boundaries. He embodies the power of authenticity, the core trait that separates true influencers from celebrities. In today’s world, people crave real stories and realism.
Diverse Voices: There’s truly an influencer for everyone! I met a sneakerhead, a content creator guiding kids on studying abroad, a tech explainer – the range of expertise was mind-blowing. It reminded me of how creators of all backgrounds and passions can offer brands a meaningful connection to their audience.
Wisdom on the Stage: Speakers like Ankur Warikoo, a successful entrepreneur-turned-content creator, shared insights on monetizing content effectively, while Revant Himatsingka, the “Food Pharmer,” challenged us with the concept of being a Deinfluencer. (Some inspiration to reinvent the word and come up with Enfluencer came from here)
Impressions Matter: Remember the viral “Rasode mein kaun tha?” Yashraj shared that to grow a loyal following, you need to impress your audience three times. That’s a big takeaway for digital marketers focused on impactful engagement.
Audience Matters: Today, brands aren’t just interested in the influencer – they care about their audience. Choosing an influencer for a brand partnership means understanding the influencer’s demographics and seeing how they align with the brand’s goals.
I do understand that being an Enfluencer means more than just sharing content – it’s about building value-driven relationships, guiding brands to authentic connections, and engaging with my community in a way that’s both impactful and entrepreneurial.
Here’s to creating a space where influence meets intention!
